Athens, Greece (Olympic games 2004)
In 2004, the Olympic games are returning to their sporting birth place and the city of their revival. Athletes from all nations will compete in Greece to engage in noble competition. The Athens Olympic Games will combine history, culture and peace through sports. The event will be held on 13th – 29th August 2004
Qatar Airways (New consortium to Istanbul-Luxor-Cairo)
 
GTA and Qatar Airways have launched a new program named Pesona Mediterranean visiting Istanbul, Luxor and Cairo. The first group departed on 11 July 2004.
 
Shanghai, China (F1 Racing in September 2004)

The F1 racing will be held from 24th – 26th September 2004 at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Due to this world event, most of the hotels in Shanghai are fully booked.

Bangkok, Thailand (Subway open earlier on 3rd July 2004)

The subway is owned and operated by the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) and the Bangkok Metro Company Limited (BMCL). It was initially scheduled to open on 12th August 2004. The subway will run from the city's main railway station, Hua Lamphong, under two major thoroughfares, Rama 4 Road and Ratchadaphisek Road. It will make a major contribution to attracting more visitors to Thailand and will lessen the travelling time in Bangkok by linking several hotels, shopping centres and business districts, as well as the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

All the subway stations are air-conditioned and well equipped with elevators, escalators, shops, ATM machines, public telephone kiosks and ticket vending machines which accept both notes and coins.
 
Hanoi, Vietnam (ASEM SUMMIT on 5th - 10th October 2004)
     
 
The fifth Asia Europe Meeting will be held in Hanoi on 5th – 10th October 2004.
Hotel space will be difficult to confirm during this event.
 
     
The Gramercy Park Hotel, New York (The key to a privileged hotel in New York)
The Gramercy Park Hotel is a distinct landmark and has a unique location. The hotel itself had been the home of John F Kennedy. Other celebrities include, Humphrey Bogart who married Helen Mencken in the Gramercy Bar when he was 27. Humphrey starred in a well-known classic movie, ”Casablanca” which won the Best Picture in 1943.
