Rion - Antirion bridge, Greece

We are pleased to announce that the bridge linking RION and ANTIRION will be officially inaugurated on 12th August this year.
This bridge at 2,250 metres in length is now the worlds longest cable stayed bridge - beating the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco (1,966 m). The cost of the bridge toll for a coach will be - eur 51.00 one-way (car crossing will be eur 9.70 one-way).
ALL GTA business will now use the bridge rather than using the ferry as it currently does.

The main reason for this is - smoothness of operation and speed, not only will the bridge mean no waiting for the ferry, also the ferry operation will be scaled down once the bridge is opened which would mean longer waits in the future for our clients if they were to take the ferry.
